Responsibilities of an Executor

Being an executor is a very important job. When the time comes an executor must start Heavenly Mail, start manual events and update contact details of recipients if required.

Starting Heavenly Mail

• Once logged in as an executor, select 'Legacies' from the bottom left of the navigation panel
• Here the Heavenly Mail members the executor is acting on behalf of are listed
• Click  'Start Heavenly Mail'
  When Heavenly Mail is started messages will begin sending per their set schedule visibile in the 'Events' section.

Stopping Heavenly Mail

• If you accidentally started Heavenly Mail you can stop it simply by clicking 'Stop Heavenly Mail' in the 'Legacies' section described above. This will stop the schedule.

Manual Events

• Manual events are those for which a message has been scheduled with no set date, for example a Wedding day or a graduation
• Enter the 'Events' section on the left hand navigation pane
• You can set the filter to only show manual events
• Select the 'View' (eye) icon next to the event, the contact details can be verified at this point
• From the top right click 'Trigger Event'
• This event will now immediately be processed and sent.

Updating Contacts

• In the event that a contact changes their postal or email address, an executor can update these from within the 'Contacts' section on the left hand navigation bar. 
• Find the contact to update and click the pencil (edit) icon next to their name
• Simply update the required fields and press submit.
